Acrylic One / A1 Triaxial Fibre

A1 Triaxial fibre (otherwise known as glass fibre) is used in combination with A1 during the lamination process. It strengthens A1 objects.

A1 Triaxial fibre is used in combination with A1 during the lamination process. This makes it possible to create A1 objects in moulds or covered with A1. A1 Triaxial fibre strengthens A1 objects.

A1 Triaxial fibre:

- has been developed specifically for A1
- is flexible, giving it good drapability on any shape, including round shapes
- is lightweight (160 gr), but still very strong
- is vandal-proof once 4 layers have been applied in combination with A1

  • It is important to weigh and mix A1 very carefully, based on the following mixing ratio: 1 part A1 Liquid to 2 parts A1 Powder. Fill a mixing cup or bucket with the amount of A1 Liquid required. Use the stainless-steel High Shear Mixer to create a swirl and then add the A1 Powder. Stir the mix until smooth and lump-free and then stir for another 30 seconds. Make sure that the material on the bottom and sides of the cup or bucket is mixed in properly too.
