Fillite is a glass hard, inert, hollow silicate sphere. It is primarily used to reduce the weight of plastics, rubber, resin and cement etc. It also imparts further benefits in many situations. Due to spherical nature of the particles, increased filler loading and improved rheology can be obtained while using Fillite.
 
Fillite resin filler powder for addition to resins at up to a maxium of 140% by weight. The majority of casters use this product at 50% by weight. A grey and black flecked powder which will both lighten and pad out your resin making it go further
