Norsodyne Laminating resin is a GRP resin / General Purpose resin , Pre-accelerated, thixotropic viscosity polyester formulated to give a low styrene emission when used with Curox catalyst to start the curing reaction.
Can be used as hand lay up or spray applications due to its rapid wet-out, low exotherm and fast hardening characteristics.
Uses include laminating, casting, mould making (both as mother molds as part of silicone molds or direct fibreglass molding with addition of gelcoat for fine detail capture). Improved water resistance makes this resin suitable for marine uses.
Catalyst is included with your order but you may order additional if you require it. Catalyst is added at 1% - 2% weight of resin depending on your requirement
Pot Life in Minutes at 20°C with 1% catalyst is approx. 40mins or 30 mins if 2% used.
